We Need More Leaders Like You…

If you’re here, chances are you care deeply about how you lead and the difference your leadership can make.

It’s lovely to have you here!

Let me tell you a little about myself:

Featured in Apple News as the Top Female Mindset & High-Performance Coach, I have spent my career studying human behavior, coaching leaders, and expanding my understanding of effective leadership.

Today’s world requires leaders to be intentional, grounded, and centered in the midst of uncertainty and disruptions.

This is no easy feat. Yet the well-being of our organizations, communities, and our world depends greatly on the leaders of today.

As a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Credentialed with the International Coaching Federation, I support senior executives to develop the confidence, vulnerability, vision and capacity needed for high performance leadership in VUCA environments.

Through executive coaching, leadership training, and customized leadership retreats, I help leaders meet challenges, strengthen their teams, build resilient cultures, and become more effective in how they lead.

Every organization and leader is different, which is why my work begins with their unique challenges, culture and goals.

In my leadership coaching methodology, I work with the whole leader, bringing together practical leadership development with deeper awareness, presence, and self-understanding.

My mission is to help leaders and organizations grow stronger and achieve greater results in an increasingly complex world.

My Journey to Coaching

I’ve always been fascinated by people and what connects us, what motivates us, and what allows us to grow beyond what we thought was possible.

That curiosity has taken me around the world and through a career spanning anthropology, public policy, executive coaching, leadership development and training.

For more than twenty-five years, I have coached leaders to become more mindful and effective in how they lead, foster resilient cultures, and create meaningful impact within their organizations and industries.

Born in the Ozarks, from an early age I knew my path would be different from many of the role models around me. I was curious about people, cultures, and the world beyond where I lived.

That curiosity took me to West Africa at 20, while I pursued my education in International Relations and French, graduating from the College of William and Mary.

At 22, while living in Togo, West Africa, at 22 a near-death experience changed the course of my life and inspired me to commit myself more fully to a life of service and purpose.

A Holistic Approach to Leadership

I returned to the U.S. to pursue my Ph.D. in Anthropology at the University of Virginia, focusing my research on women’s empowerment and embodiment.

During my doctoral research, I also trained in Shamanism, breathwork, and mindfulness practices. More than 30 years later, these experiences continue to inform my holistic approach to coaching and my understanding of the presence, self-awareness, and groundedness today’s leaders need.

Over the years, I have lived in the US, Greece, Togo, Burkina Faso, Papua New Guinea and Australia. Living in these diverse societies has broadened my understanding of people, culture, and the increasingly complex VUCA world in which we live and lead.

I have also trained people from more than 25 countries in my coaching methodology through an International Coaching Federation accredited program.

These experiences shaped my belief that meaningful leadership development must address the whole person, from how leaders think and communicate to how they shape the culture around them.

From Anthropology to the White House

After completing my doctorate, I moved to Washington, D.C., where I worked as an organizational consultant and as an appointee for the Clinton White House, directing policy, programming and strategic planning on education and health initiatives.

It was during this chapter of my life that I was introduced to coaching and began my training as a coach.

I quickly discovered that coaching brought together so much of what had shaped my life…a fascination with people and leadership, a belief in human potential, and a desire to help others create meaningful change.

I fell in love with coaching and when the Clinton administration ended, I knew I had found the work I wanted to dedicate my life to. On a personal note, I met and married my husband during this period and together we brought our son into the world.

A Career Devoted to Coaching and Leadership

What began more than 25 years ago has grown into a career devoted to coaching leaders in corporate, NGO, political and tech sectors to strengthen leadership, develop healthier cultures and create positive change.

I am a co-author of #1 international bestselling, Ready, Aim, Excel: The Expert Insights Guide to Personal and Professional Leadership.

I’ve also authored a best-selling women’s wellness book, for which I won the International Book Awards.

I am deeply passionate about coaching and leadership and feel incredibly fortunate to do this work. It is a privilege to support leaders as they grow, meet new challenges, and discover what becomes possible when they lead with greater awareness and intention.

It would be an honor to learn more about you, your leadership, and your organization. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to connect.
