…every one of us is meant to lead in our own unique way.
…you’re meant to embody your leadership calling.
I’ve always believed that there are more possibilities available to us than we can see in our current situation.
I was born in the Ozarks to a lineage of strong women who dedicated their lives to education and fighting the income inequality they and so many others were born into.
By the time I was 20, I knew my calling was different from many of the role models in my own society.
Always a seeker, I moved to West Africa and traveled the world while I pursued my education in International Relations and French, graduating from the College of William and Mary.
At 22, my life was saved from a near-death experience while living in Togo, West Africa. This even inspired me to commit to a path of service and embark on a journey to get the tools that I needed.
I moved back to the U.S. to pursue my Ph.D. in Anthropology at the University of Virginia, focusing on women’s empowerment and overcoming oppression.
While in grad school, I did a four year apprenticeship in Shamanism, conducted research in Africa and the U.S., and interviewed hundreds of women on their embodied experiences of racial and gender inequality.
After I received my doctorate, I moved to Washington D.C. and worked for the Clinton White House directing policy and programming for health and education initiatives to support our country’s most vulnerable women and children.
During this time, I became introduced to the field of coaching and started my training as a coach. When the Clinton administration ended, I knew I was meant to become a coach.
Even though I was scared, I believed in the power of coaching and was totally inspired to integrate my various tools to help others align with their purpose.
I started my coaching business in downtown D.C. and absolutely fell in love with empowering each client to embody their unique purpose.
During this time, I met my husband Scott and together, we brought our beautiful son, Xavier, into the world. We eventually moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas, where I continue to coach people around the world.
At the requests of my clients I founded the Transform Coaching Academy to train others in my coaching methodology, which integrates the best in coaching with powerful transformation techniques that deliver profound results. This highly recognized Coaching Certification Program has been ranked as one of the top coach training programs in the world and I’ve had the pleasure to train women on every continent to become successful leaders and coaches.
I realize how fortunate I am to get to train, coach and speak to groups and individuals throughout the U.S. and beyond.
For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege to help people just like you step into their authentic leadership roles in a way that truly nourishes their body and spirit.
I would love to support you or your organization.
